Trade shows gives one the opportunity to give your company's product great visibility, it enables one to not only show case new products. It also enables one to generate new leads and possible sales. Another great aspect of trade shows it gives you the opportunity to learn about your industry and gain competitive insight. Many show exhibitors start out incorrect here are simple goals that one needs to make before entering the convention hall. Some of your main goals should be to capture new business, enhance your existing clients and inform of new products. Here are some goals one should shoot for:

-Take advantage or preshow mailers which can help in bring attendees into your booth

-Have plenty of hand outs with business cards and brochures, make sure all of these items follow one theme

- Your marketing plan should have in it some sort of way to keep track of you leads etc

-Have a custom design trade show booth that enhance your product as well as your plan of action

-Include in your plan of action some sort of give-away that relates to your product or your booth, make it useable and memorable. If you make tires or Rims for cars do not give away IPods, give-away something like a tire gauge etc

-Place all show service orders prior to any discount deadline. The savings are worth it-its a gift take advantage of it

-Try to send your booth direct to show site warehouse, it cost a little more on the drayage but it world out better by having your booth waiting for you on the floor as oppose to waiting on it to set up

-Get your graphic done professionally, Kinko's will not do this time. A professional graphic house or exhibit house that understands trade shows should be used

-Trade shows can be fun, Loosen up and make it fun. There are lots of interesting forks to meet and make deal with

There are always different goals put forth by exhibitors make your realistic and do not expect and unrealistic turn out. One should look to attend more than one trade show a year inorder to keep your company name out in the market. Follow up on all leads immediately after show
