Tired of working to make your boss wealthy? Want freedom from that awful job? Can you start your own home business and earn a great income? You may receive answers to all these question, and it's possible you can do it. But first - beware! While there are excellent work-from-home programs that will enable you to fulfill your goals, there are also many that are simply rip-offs whose sole aim is to separate you and your money. Thanks to e-commerce (\"Electronic Commerce\") and the Internet, millions of people make a handsome amount of income by working online jobs. These people can be found all around the world, working from their own homes. Unfortunately, human nature being what it is, there are thousands of people who have spent some, or in many cases, a lot of moneyliterally thousands of dollarsin the hope they would be able to live off their Internet work, but in the end have become frustrated. These people have been betrayed and ripped-off. Perform an online search using the keywords 'work from home' or 'online jobs' and you will would be surprised to see thousands of web sites which make tall claims of helping you generate a six figure income by doing almost 'nothing'. Are you about to be scammed? That's the problem. You don't know who to believe. All those pictures of fast cars, mansions, palm trees, poolsis it real? Or just hype? It is, without any doubt, difficult to work out which sites are genuine and which are scams. However, there are a few techniques that you can use to help determine which are genuine and which are not. Companies that lure you in with web sites of private jets, luxurious homes and cars are generally bogus. If the photos are polished and look like they come from a magazine, they may have - or at least were bought from a professional photographer or stock photography company. Look for photos that are obviously snapshots and unpolished. Also watch out for ridiculous claims. It's very unlikely that you will make millions of dollars in the first year of your online business. Real companies won't make these claims. Look at the company's track record in industry watchdog organizations, and visit online forums to see how other people have fared and what genuine jobs they recommend. There are many legitimate home business reviews on the Internet. Review them before you spend any money. It's too easy to fall prey to bogus companies with dodgy businesses. Before spending a single dollar, do your research. Most of the fraudulent companies require a one-time membership (sometimes ongoing) of around $100 or more. It's possible some of these are real businesses which do provide you with real work and reasonable incomes. But many are not, so beware. It's not just the subscription money you risk, either - you will waste your time, which in the end is far more valuable. Finally, realize that scammers will continue to ask for more money once they get their hooks into you.
