First and foremost, run the burn under cold water to stop the burning process. Then you can apply an antibiotic cream and loosely wrap the burn in clean, dry cloth. If it looks like the burn is not healing after several days following the burn treatment, consult a medical professional. Other remedies which you can use : You can use egg white by soaking or coating the affected area. Remember that while the egg white is still wet, you will not feel any pain from the burn. Reapplication is compulsory because when it dries up the pain may come back. Sodium bicarbonate can be used for this purpose too, but it is only for a smaller burn. First mix one or two teaspoons of sodium bicarbonate with a very small amount of water, just enough to make it into a smooth paste (not runny), then apply the paste directly onto the burned area and leave it for some times. Amazingly the pain will disappear instantly. If you want the burn to stop and heal fast, why don't you try applying toothpaste on the burn. Cut a tomato into wedges use one slice and rub over the burned area. The acids from the tomato takes the pain away and the blister will not happen. Precaution will go a long way to ensuring an effective burn treatment should it ever become necessary.
