Why is it better to give than it is to receive? The more you give, the more you receive. Success and living life abundantly are rewards granted to unconditional givers. Unconditional giving is giving because you want to give, not that you feel like you have some sort of obligation to give. By giving freely and without conditions, you are using the law of giving and receiving and will gain the rewards of drawing abundance and success to you. There are both scientific and spiritual bases for this universal law of giving. The Spiritual basis of The Law of Giving and Receiving: Whatever you sow, you will also reap. -Galatians 6:7 The Scientific basis of The Law of Giving and Receiving: For every action, there will always be an equal or even opposite reaction -Isaac Newton's Law of Motion. Reasons People Resist Giving: People often decide not to give because they think they do not have enough to give. They think that if they give, they will have nothing left. This type of thinking comes from limited thinking and perceptions of lack and scarcity. As we see from the spiritual reasoning behind this universal law, you cannot reap what has not been sown. From the scientific perspective, if you do nothing, nothing will happen. You must take action for something to occur. There are those who do not give because they fear they will be left with nothing if they do - and these people will of course get nothing in return and fail to grow and develop. Others will give just a little, again feeling a sense of scarcity - but those who give only a little will get only a little in return. Some people understand the basic principle of giving and receiving and simply give to get. This is a perversion of the Law of Giving and Receiving. If your reasons for giving are for selfish gain, you will learn the hard way that just as you cannot defy the laws of gravity, you also cannot defy the Law of Giving and Receiving. If your giving is tainted, what you receive will also be tainted. Start Giving From the Heart: When you start living by the principles of the law of giving and receiving, you learn that by giving your life is more, not less abundant. There is a feeling of accomplishment and success which is very exhilarating. Your spirit makes the connection that the same Higher Power that created you, also created everyone else. This awareness changes how you deal with people. You begin seeing yourself in others. More importantly, you recognize what it means to Love others as you Love yourself. You'll be more in tune with the needs of others and this is what will allow you to give freely and unconditionally. Giving from the heart sets off a chain reaction of events including inspiring others to give also, which ultimately creates a circle of giving. Giving Produces Spiritual and Personal Growth: When you give unconditionally you build faith in yourself, in others and the entire world. Some describe it as a religious experience; it is certainly a spiritual feeling. The more you can unconditionally give, the more you will receive.
