You dont want your time, money, and priorities to be dictated by others, and this will happen unless we give some honest thought on how to reach our Christian Home Business Goals. We must first identify high priority life objectives and goals for ourselves, and then pray about them, so we can make sure they are along the same path of what our Lord wants for us. This will create a strong and intimate relationship with our Lord, and it will also give us a strong partnership with the one partner who can produce great success for us in achieving our goals - and that partner is our Lord. Our Lord needs to be a part of our goals and planning, as He will be our ultimate success partner. It can also result in much healthier relationships with your family and friends, as you will obtain the peace of mind that comes from having a well-planned strategy. As Proverbs says, The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage (Proverbs 21:5). Our Goals and Motivation (creating the Why): For success to occur, you must write down each of your goals, but you must also remember to keep your mind and heart open to Gods desires for you. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, a mans heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. This Proverb doesnt mean that you should not lay out your business plans and set your priorities. But this Proverb does mean that there will be times that you will need to adjust your focus, because God will reveal His true purposes for your life as we move towards our planned goals. Here is something that you must do in order to achieve your ambitions. Its very important that you know what your objectives are, but it's an absolute must for you to decide on WHY it's important for you to attain them.. This way youll know your motivation for each goal that you set, and you won't give up on them when situations come up that could cause you to abandon your goals. The creation of the why will motivate you to continue on with your plans, even when things come up that could easily cause you to abandon your goals. Also, in order to achieve your dreams, its important to have a clear idea of what your objectives are and why they are worth achieving. Get Started Now - It doesnt matter if your objectives involve relationships, finances, or health, dont waste any time feeling bad that you have not taken any action yet. Just start to focus on the areas of your life that need specific goals, and go to work on them. It is never too late. Figure out where you want to be in a few months or a year from now, and then rely on God to give you the strength to stay on course. A good way to stay accountable to your goals is to ask a friend to hold you accountable and have them periodically check up on you. To ensure that you use your time well, sit down and make a schedule for the coming days. When the year ends, you will be amazed that you are among the minority who ended the year with more goals accomplished for your Christian home business and the one with very little left undone.
