You have a number of days or weeks to use the load depending on the amount of the prepaid card you purchased. A prepaid cellular phone plan may sound very convincing, but you should think hard first before choosing this over the post paid plan. In the long run, post paid plans give much bigger savings especially when it comes to calls. Post paid plans have lower call rates compared to prepaid plans.
