Flights to Belfast from the UK are mainly into George Best Belfast City Airport while flights to Belfast International tend to be from not just UK airports but also from many of the holiday flight destinations in Europe.

Toronto flights to Belfast, flights to Cancun, Vancouver and Orlando are all routes available direct from Belfast International Airport with airlines such as Fly Globespan, Continental Airlines and low cost transatlantic airline Zoom.

The low cost airlines have helped provide flights from Malaga, Geneva, Venice, Budapest and you can even get a flight Belfast flight from Blackpool. The choice and prices now available are better than ever before.

If you are travelling on a flight to Belfast it would be a good idea to check and see if the flight route you require is served by both Belfast Airports. A good example of this would be a Belfast flight from Blackpool, which is served by two airlines and one has flights into Belfast City and the other goes into Belfast International. London Flights to Belfast offer even more options and combinations as you can fly from both Belfast Airports and get a flight to more than one London Airport.

Another advantage of having two airports is that airlines often compete on routes and use different airports. A good example of this is a flight from Birmingham to Belfast City with Flybe. There is nothing stopping you travelling to or from Belfast City and returning into Belfast International. Bmibaby also have flights from Birmingham but this time into Belfast Internaional.

With the arrival of the new airlines you can take a short break to many new destinations and get a flight from Belfast without travelling via Manchester or London. Direct flights from Belfast mean you get more time away and there is not the hassle with changing aircraft and waiting about for a connecting flight.
